Hi there! I'm Nancy Griffiths, Managing Principal of RelocationsPlus.  My experience in relocation stems from  various international assignments which include New York, USA, the Philippines and Germany.

Over 15 years in Germany, I have assisted many English-speaking families to get adjusted in their new and strange environment. Now in Singapore, I'd like to help you make the transition into your new environment as easy and pleasurable as possible. Let me tell you a little about who I am and how I can help you.

With cross-continent experience and a degree in psychology, I feel well equipped to deal with the multitude of situations which arise when traversing cross-cultural boundaries.

In April 1998 we moved “lock, stock and barrel” to Singapore. In Eckenhaid, a quaint village to the North East of Nuremberg, we left behind a place called “home”. Our two children, then aged 11 and 12, left their school and a host of friends behind: Always a tough circumstance to cope with. But we overcame the transition quickly using our experience to manage the situation. The children continued their schooling at the Deutsche Schule Singapore, rapidly finding new friends and enjoying many new experiences. We found a new and rich social scene and swiftly mastered the new way of life. 

 We are neither the first nor the last to have done this sort of move – but having moved from the Philippines to the USA and Europe and then back to Asia, I fully appreciate the overwhelming cultural differences. These cross-continent moves have given me invaluable insight into how enriching or traumatic relocating can be. The upset and stress these differences often create can be minimised with a little aid from someone who has “been there”. Through my experience I would like to help you to settle easily and comfortably into your new environment in Singapore. In fact to make this your new "home".
